Iron Skillet Apple Cake

I found this recipe on PioneerWoman's website. It is SO AWESOME. Click HERE if interested.

You caramelize butter, sugar, and apples in an iron skillet.

Then you put a thin layer of cake batter over the caramelized apples and bake it for 30 minutes.

So. Wonderfully. Tasty.

There's even diced up pieces of apple in the cake part.

Flip it onto a plate, so that the apples are on top.And enjoy.

Uncle Steve ate nearly half of it in one day.
