Leggy Brunette

Remember last week when the Professor built a frame for the bar counter using butcher block legs? Well, the legs went from blonde to brunette yesterday. The Professor even fancied them up by adding a little molding and shelf corners to the front of the frame!

The molding has a subtle rope pattern:

The legs aren't done. They still have another coat or two of Bombay Mahogany stain to go before they match our cabinets. They may be slightly lighter because they are made of pine and the cabinets are oak - but I think it will still loook great!
