It was rainy and gloomy all day yesterday. I like the rain, but I was beginning to think that I'd never get any good lighting for an Embrace the Camera shot. So, I decided to embrace the gloom instead. I googled tips for taking silhouetted pictures, set my camera up on a chair on top of a table, set the self timer with continuous shot, scrambled in front of the nearest window, and let 'er click!
And since I'm now addicted to taking silhouetted pictures (ok, just pictures in general)... Here are some with both of my handsome guys:
Very cute! And very artistic!

To answer some questions: I took these photos around 4 in the afternoon with the camera set on creative auto and the flash turned off. I did some editing in picasa to highlight the silhouettes and bring out the shadows. I recommend googling tips on silhouetted photos. They helped me!
