URBS! (...herbs...)

I plan to eventually have a huge herb/veggie/flower garden in the back yard. However, with so much going on this summer and so much work to do on the inside of the house, we are going to hold off on a major overhaul of the back yard until next summer.

That being said, I don't want to go through another summer without fresh herbs! So, I'll be planting a small herb garden on the back side of the house this spring. I took advantage of the terrific weather this weekend to get my herb seedlings started.

Mmm. Fresh basil. Fresh pesto sauce... I can't wait!

I'll have rosemary & thyme too, but they are much easier to buy full grown and replant. They take too long to grow from seed.

The pots have been thoroughly watered and set under a sunny window. Now, I just have to wait.
