We Are Eskimos - Raising the Roof

We started to lose daylight around the time we were putting the roof on the igloo, but all we had to do was bring one flashlight inside and we had plenty of light to finish!

After a brief hot cocoa break, we passed the last block of snow to the Professor...

Packed it down as much as we could...Cut it to size...And then worried about the whole thing caving in... er... I mean, the Professor and Theresa put in in place. Victory is ours! We are all that is Eskimo! Ok... It still needs an entrance, but come on! It's standing, it has a roof, and it's held together by a keystone! How cool is that? Thanks Mr. Igloo Ice Chest!We placed the final block around 6:30 pm. Childhood dream complete, we trekked down our little path and returned to our wonderfully heated home...
