Swatch Combos

The internet is a very dangerous place. Too many options. When you walk into a store, your options are usually limited. But on the internet, the options are seemingly endless. Dangerous.

I've been trying to pin down my ideas for the nursery. The trouble is, I typically work best if I have a fabric or piece of art to work around. I know I'm thinking of a pretty taupe or light brown for the nursery walls. I know that I'd like the room to be semi-gender neutral. I may be having a boy this time, but we'd like more than one child and who knows what gender we'll get next time. Also, I want to enjoy the room. I'm sure my 2 month old son won't notice what the room looks like while he's nursing at 3 am, but I will! The trouble is, I don't really care for the infant comforters that I've looked at. So, why not make a blanket & bumper cover myself?

Keeping all of that in mind, I started to look at different fabric swatches online that I might like to use. Before I knew it, I had over 100 different tabs of options open in the browser. Jeez. Dangerous internet. Now how the heck am I going to make a decision? I know! I'll make combinations and I'll save the links for each fabric swatch so that I can find them again.

So now I've lost my mind and I have 50 combinations of fabric swatches. Why can I never do anything in small, simple steps? I need help. Help me!! Which ones do you think might work well?

(The first 12 are probably a little girly, so I may use one of them in a another room sometime - but the pattern was so bright, cheerful, and fun that I couldn't resist.)

See? I'm crazy!! What was I thinking?

Also - if you are especially enamored with any combo, I don't mind sharing the links with you.
