Farewell Mr. Wall

Lies a little itty bitty alcove/mini-hall which was built to further separate two of the upstairs rooms... Remember, it was mentioned in the Doorframe Issues Post.

The wall is not original to the house. I'm pretty sure of that fact because the floorboards continue under the wall and the slats were put up to support drywall on the otherside... not plaster.

While I understand that Mr. Wall was meant to have a purpose, I have a few problems with him...

I'm sorry, Mr. Wall, but the light switch situation is just unacceptable:

Plus, this room would feel way more open without you...

And, so, we bid you farewell Mr. Wall. I'm afraid we wish you gone.
