We were planning on waiting until the baby was big enough to need a booster seat before getting one. However, while thrift store shopping for a couch with my sister-in-law Theresa this weekend, we happened upon this baby in a surplus store:
Brand new, still in the box, untouched, and only $40. FORTY DOLLARS!! I was super giddy. I had to open the box up and inspect it to make sure the box wasn't actually empty or packed with lamb shanks before I purchased it. I grabbed the box off the shelf and carried it around the store with me until the Professor and Theresa were ready to go. I wouldn't put it down for fear that someone else would take it. I may have looked a little desperate and crazy. I probably would have drop kicked anyone who tried to touch the box.
